Mr. Spencer is recently currently Chief Operating Officer of Beezag Inc. He was previously CEO of Upoc Networks
He is now also serving on the the advisory board of several early stage mobile an d internet companies.
Mr. Spencer is also an executive consultant to the Wireless Industry. He is a well known industry leader and an often requested speaker at trade events. He serves as a member of the leadership board of the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association.
He was previously the Executive Vice President for Wireless Systems at Pinnacor. In this role, Mr. Spencer was responsible for the overall executive leadership of the company’s wireless and alternative access segments. Mr. Spencer also served as Pinnacor’s CTO and headed up their Product Management function.
Mr. Spencer’s previous experience spans 20 years with Bell Laboratories and Lucent Technologies. During this time, he has held the positions of Senior Managing Director of Business Management for the wireless Internet applications, Project Director for Internet appliances, Director, Business Development for Internet Technologies and Project Director for Broadband interactive television. Products that Mr. Spencer has managed have produced over $1B in revenue.
Mr. Spencer began his career with Bell Laboratories in 1980 and has authored four patents.
Mr. Spencer has a BSEE from Union College, MSEE from Cornell University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
